Danny Manning was one of the all-time great college basketball players at Kansas before being selected as the #1 pick in the 1988 NBA Draft.

He played 14 years in the NBA and was a two-time All-Star. Manning is the only player in the NBA to come back from three ACL surgeries. He went on to be an Assistant Coach at Kansas before leading Tulsa to the 2014 NCAA Tournament.

Manning went on to become the Head Coach at Wake Forest and led them to the 2017 NCAA Tournament. Three seasons later he was fired. Manning has rebounded to work for ESPN and is now an Assistant Coach at Maryland.
