Danny Morrison is the Executive Director of the Charlotte Sports Foundation and a long-tenured leader in a variety of positions in the sports world, including Athletic Director of Wofford College (his alma mater), commissioner of the Southern Conference, and President of the Carolina Panthers.
Throughout his career, Danny has worked with large and diverse organizations, as well as other high level executives. During this time, he’s developed a leadership philosophy built on integrity, trust and collaboration.
Coach Matt Doherty sits down with Danny Morrison on today’s episode of The Rebound Podcast for a conversation looking back on his career. Danny talks about working with the late Jerry Richardson, former owner of the Carolina Panthers and co-founder of Spartan Foods, where he built much of his fortune. Danny also reflects on his time with the Panthers, including their run to the Super Bowl in 2015.
