The Charlotte Hornets ended a four-game losing streak and a five-game head-to-head skid against the Orlando Magic with a 124-115 win on Friday night.

Brandon Miller made his first ten shots from the field and came three points short of his career high with 32 points on the evening. Miles Bridges flanked him with 23 points & Vasilije Micic had 14 points and 9 assists.

Charlotte started out with season-high 68% shooting percentage, 60% for the game, and 15-for-30 from three-point range. Orlando never held a lead in the contest, making this the Hornets’ first wire-to-wire win of the season.

The last time the Hornets defeated the Magic on November 14th, 2022, the only Hornets on the current roster who played in that game were LaMelo Ball & Nick Richards. Neither player dressed for the Hornets on Friday.

Sunday marks the Hornets’ (19-58) penultimate home contest of the 23-24 season, as Charlotte hosts the Oklahoma City Thunder. Pregame coverage begins at 5 PM and tip time is set for 6 PM on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ.
