Sunday afternoon was not a good day to be a Panthers fan as they got blown out on the road by the Detroit Lions by a 42-24 score. With that loss, the Panthers now fall to 0-5 for only the 4th time in franchise history and Steve Smith joined Kyle Bailey to discuss the frustrations within the Queen City.
The first thing Steve touched on was the angst within the fanbase after an 0-5 start as he noted that what is going on right now is not good, but at the same time, he admitted that the start of this year is not phasing him due to his rookie year being the 1-15 season for Carolina. He also noted that the outcome is clouding the growth that guys such as Bryce Young have been making.
Steve also went into Frank Reich’s Keep Pounding message as well as if some of the smaller mistakes are being exasperated by the season has played out so far.
