Princely Umanmielen On The Potential Of The Panthers Defense
The Panthers enter the 2026 season fresh off their first playoff appearance since the 2017 season, with a young roster still developing. One of those young players that has shown potential during his rookie year is 2025 3rd round pick Princely Umanmielen, who joined Kyle Bailey to discuss his mindset entering his 2nd year.
Looking back on the defense last year, Princely noted that the defense had games where they were great, but at times they also struggled. With the additions of Jaelen Phillips and Devin Lloyd, Princely thinks that the defense can find the consistency they need to be a top 10 unit in the league.
