Jaelan Phillips: We Have An Underrated D-Line Room
The Carolina Panthers were in need of adding a pass rusher entering this offseason, and Dan Morgan signed Jaelan Phillips to help Carolina get better at getting after the QB in 2026. Jaelan Phillips joined Kyle Bailey as he broke down what he’s seen from the other edge rushers, and his expectations for his first year in Carolina.
The defensive line got dealt a blow on the first day of camp with the season ending injury to Nic Scourton, but Jaelan is still high on the defensive line group as a unit as he pointed to Patrick Jones being an animal while Princely is the best pure pass rusher on the team, and he’s excited to work alongside Derrick Brown as well.
Jaelan would also tell Kyle what he’s noticed when going up against rookie Monroe Freeling in practice, and Jaelan talked about his audio engineering background as well.
