Grant McCasland: Christian Anderson In Charlotte Is A Perfect Fit
The 2026 NBA Draft for the Charlotte Hornets was a busy one with 2 picks in the top 20 of what many people are calling a “loaded draft”. The 2nd pick the Hornets made was Texas Tech G Christian Anderson, and Texas Tech HC Grant McCasland joined Kyle Bailey to discuss what Christian will bring to Charlotte.
When breaking down Christian’s game, Grant told Kyle that Christian is an elite shooter, but he doesn’t get enough credit for how he can make the most difficult aspects of basketball seem so simple, and he is capable of leading players, but also has a clutch gene in that he is not afraid to take the big shot.
Coach McCasland would also go on to break down his experiences of going up against Hannes Steinbach, and how the 5 for 5 rule will impact college basketball.
