Lee Hunter: Derrick Brown Is A Guy I Want To Learn From
The Panthers D-Line is entering the 2026 season with a couple of new faces as Jaelan Phillips came to Carolina via Free Agency and in the draft, Dan Morgan added Texas Tech DT Lee Hunter to solidify the DL. Lee Hunter joined Kyle Bailey as he discussed his first NFL training camp and how talented the DL group can be this year.
When asked about this DLine, Lee noted that he’s ecstatic about playing next to Derrick Brown as he’s modeled his game after him and he wants to learn from Derrick, but he also told Kyle that it’s a blessing to have a D-Line room like Carolina has and they can be very special.
Lee went on to discuss how much he wants to play throughout the preseason, and how Dave Canales is different from his college coach in Joey McGuire
