While the Hornets entire schedule will not be released until later this month, their draw for the new NBA Tournament is out.
The Hornets will be a part of Group B, with their first game coming on the road against the Washington Wizards on November 10th. Their next two tournament games will be at home vs. the Heat on November 14th and against the Bucks on November 17th. Their final game of group play will be in Madison Square Garden, against the Knicks on November 28th.
All thirty NBA teams will compete in this tournament, with the eight qualifying teams advancing to Knockout Round. Once group play wraps up, the qualifying teams will advance to the quarterfinals on December 4th and 5th, with the semifinals set for Dec. 7th and the inaugural championship will be held on December 9th.
The prize pool includes $500,000 each for players on the winning team of the Championship, $200,000 each for players on the losing team of the Championship, $100,000 each for players on losing teams of the Semifinals and $50,000 each for players on losing teams of the Quarterfinals.
