The Charlotte 49ers announced the program's third Hall of Fame class on Wednesday morning and it included one of the most successful members of the basketball program. Bobby Lutz is the winningest coach in the history of Niners basketball, posting a 218-158 record in twelve seasons as the head man. In total, Lutz led the program to eight postseason appearances, including five NCAA Tournaments. He led the 1998-99 team, his first, to their highest NCAA  Tournament seed in program history (5) and the second round of the tourney, their deepest run outside of the run to the 1977 Final Four.

Brandon Miller had a stellar freshman season at Alabama, helping guide the Crimson Tide to the #1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, and a trip to the Sweet 16. His NBA comp has long been Paul George of the Clippers, and when healthy, he is one of the best two-way players in all of basketball.
