Believe it or not, the final week of the 2023 regular season is here in college football, and we’re getting closer to finding out which teams will compete in the College Football Playoff. The final week is always headlined by the renewal of the great rivalries, that are the lifeline of the support, and this year, those games have national ramifications. Ohio State and Michigan renew “The Game”, with the winner clinching a spot in the Big 10 title game, and a step closer to a berth in the Playoff. Auburn and Alabama will renew the Iron Bowl, as the Crimson Tide have rounded into form in the season’s last month. Bo Nix and the Oregon Ducks will travel to Corvallis to take on Oregon Ducks, as Bo Nix continues his push to win the Heisman Trophy. Locally, the ACC title game is set between the Florida State Seminoles, and the Louisville Cardinals, in what will likely be a top-10 matchup, with the Noles looking to lock up a Playoff spot. Over the weekend, Florida State lost their starting QB Jordan Travis, after he suffered a season-ending leg injury.

Joel Klatt is a college football analyst for FOX, and is a part of their #1 booth, joining Gus Johnson on the call for the biggest game on their network every Saturday. Earlier today, Klatt stopped by the Wes & Walker Show, to talk about FSU’s Playoff chances after the devastating injury to Jordan Travis, his thoughts on Saturday’s all-important Ohio State/Michigan game, & his evaluation of Bryce Young.

You can catch the Wes & Walker Show, every weekday from 12-3 PM, on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ, and the WFNZ app.
