A first happened for the Panthers on Sunday in the 2023 season as they got their first win of the season by defeating the Houston Texans 15-13. Panthers Hall of Honor member and legendary WR Steve Smith Sr. joined Kyle Bailey to recap the game and what this could mean for the Panthers moving forward.
One of the aspects of the game that stood out to Steve was the play of Bryce Young while under duress in the pocket as he noted that it shows you his smarts while in the pocket and he can take a hit as well despite his concerns.
Steve would also get into the comments NC State HC Dave Doeren made about him on Saturday, as well as the Tepper’s being booed while inducting Muhsin Muhammad and Julius Peppers into the Panthers Hall of Honor.
