The days are ticking down as we are within 2 weeks until the start of the college football season, and the ACC has a lot of intriguing storylines heading into the 2026 season. Former USC & Pitt QB turned ACC Network Analyst Max Browne joined Kyle Bailey to break down some of the biggest storylines as the 2026 season gets started in the ACC.

The Tar Heels made news today by announcing that former Maryland and Wisconsin QB Billy Edwards Jr. will be their starting QB as Max told Kyle that this wasn’t a surprise given his experience, but the main question doesn’t surround the QB but more so the lack of identity the Heels had on offense last year, and can the skill position players step up to help Billy and new OC Bobby Petrino.

Max would go on to preview the big ACC season opener between Virginia and NC State, and if James Franklin can flip the ACC in his first season at VT.
