Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald allegedly assaulted a man last weekend, according to a Pittsburgh attorney.

Todd Hollis, who represents De Vincent Spriggs, told KDKA-TV that he intends to file criminal charges on behalf of his client with police after Donald allegedly fought Spriggs between 3-4 a.m. ET on April 11.

Hollis told TMZ Sports the altercation started inside a Pittsburgh nightclub when Spriggs accidentally bumped into Donald. He said an argument ensued with Donald as the aggressor.

The nightclub’s management kicked both men out of the establishment for the clash. It was then Donald allegedly assaulted Spriggs while standing outside the entrance of the club, leaving him badly injured with a broken eye socket.

Donald has spent seven seasons with the Rams after being selected No. 13 overall in the 2014 NFL draft.

The three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year has racked up 357 tackles, 85.5 sacks and 19 forced fumbles during his career. He grew up in Pittsburgh and played his college years at the University of Pittsburgh from 2010-13. Donald maintains a residence in his hometown when he’s away from Los Angeles.
