Today on the Mac Attack, Mac and T-Bone discussed if these recent losses for the Charlotte Hornets could be just the beginning of the team going in the wrong direction. They have currently lost 6 of their last 7 games, and the schedule is only getting tougher and tougher. Mac and T-Bone also say this team is desperate for a big man that can score and block shots, and they just don’t have that with Cody Zeller or Bismack Biyombo right now.
Last night the Hornets lost 116-106 to the Indiana Pacers, and the slow start by the team was much to blame. The Pacers got out to a 36-19 lead after the 1st Quarter and seemed to have all the momentum. Starting off slow seems to be a theme for the Hornets, and it is something Coach James Borrego said after the game needed to be addressed.
The Hornets play the Pacers again on Friday night, followed by games against the Bucks, Heat, 76ers, and Jazz. These are all teams that will be extremely tough wins for the team.
