Yesterday, the Green Bay Packers lost 31-26 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship game. With a little over 2 minutes remaining in the game and the Packers down 31-23, Matt LaFleur decided to kick a Field Goal to make the game 31-26 instead of trying to go for a touchdown when the Packers were inside the 10 yard line.

This wasn’t the only head scratching decision made by LaFleur in this game. To end the first half, the Packers let Tom Brady find Scotty Miller for a stunning 39 yard TD to make the score 28-10 Buccaneers. This was a huge momentum swing, and it was a very bad coaching decision by LaFleur and others for allowing that to happen at the end of the half.

LaFleur has led the Packers to back to back NFC Championship games in his first 2 years as the teams Coach, but with an all-time great QB like Aaron Rodgers, you have to wonder if only making it there is a let down.
