The Head Coach of the Hornets joined Kyle Bailey on Friday before the Raptors game as he discussed the struggles heading into the All-Star Break, and how they can get back on track with 22 games remaining.

James started the interview looking at how much he needed the all-star break just like the players just to mentally recharge and when looking back at losing 9 of the last 10 games he said the frustrating part was about half of them could have gone their way if they just made one play, made a free throw, or a call went their way which shows how small the margin of error is.

Kyle then asked about maybe seeing more minutes from a guy like JT Thor as he said we should expect to see more of JT coming out of the break as he will be using a 9-man rotation and James explained that James Bouknight will be in Greensboro as he will get more shots up and playing time with the Swarm now that Cody Martin is back in the lineup from his injury from before the all-star break.

When it came to the final 22 games of the year and the pressure of the playoffs mounting Coach Borrego told Kyle:

“The biggest thing is we can’t press right now, we’ve got to stay the course as our next 10 games could be our best 10 games and the last thing we can do is panic.”
