The former Head Coach of the Virginia Tech Hokies and current College Basketball Analyst for ESPN joined Kyle Bailey on Monday’s edition of the Clubhouse as he looked ahead to some of the biggest matchups in the ACC this week, and what the future should hold for Kevin Keatts.

The first thing that Seth discussed with Kyle was a player he tried to recruit who is now a Hornet in Montrezl Harrell as Seth said what the Hornets are getting is a true lunch pail player who brings the energy and will help others be more confident to bring the energy as well.

The conversation shifted to College Basketball as Seth previewed tomorrow’s game between Wake and Duke as Seth said the key for Duke to win is just to be more consistent and for Wake, they have to have Jake LaRavia have a big game alongside Alondis Williams if they want to have a chance to beat the Blue Devils inside Cameron Indoor.

Things shifted 8 miles away to the North Carolina Tar Heels as Seth noted since the Duke game that he has loved the ball movement and while this team should be a tournament team, Seth pointed out that the Guards (Caleb Love & RJ Davis) have to show this same sort of ball movement and an extra gear against the top-tier teams in the country.

The interview ended with Seth looking at the uncertain future of Kevin Keatts at NC State as he said:

“They’re not playing well right now I’m not sugarcoating it, but next year Manny Bates comes back along with (Terquavion) Smith  and maybe (Jericole) Hellems  and they could be a tournemtn team as you can flip things quickly, just look at what Notre Dame is doing this year.”
