Earlier today, reports surfaced that the Panthers are luring in the sweepstakes for potentially landing free agent wide receiver, DeAndre Hopkins. Carolina has made moves to bolster their wide receiver room this off-season, as they drafted Johnathan Mingo out of Ole Miss, and signed veteran Adam Theilen. Even with those moves, the Panthers wide receiver core is still considered among the worst in the NFL and could be what limits Bryce Young's success as a rookie. Ever since David Tepper fired Matt Rhule last October, and decided not to retain interim head coach, Steve Wilks, this organization has been "all in" bringing in a star-studded coaching staff, headlined by Frank Reich, in addition to trading up to #1 to draft the aforementioned Young.

For the past few days, Hornets fans have been attempting to come to terms with the fact that the team bypassed the upside of Scoot Henderson for the piece that fits the roster best in Brandon Miller. While many have expressed frustration with it, the focus inside the Hornets building has shifted toward free agency, […]

The NBA Draft is just over 48 hours away, and the rumors are heating up, in regards to who the Hornets are going to pick #2 on Thursday night. Jake Fischer of Yahoo! Sports reported earlier today that Brandon Miller has been the favorite during the draft process, with the idea of him being the perfect fit to pair with LaMelo Ball. Earlier tonight, Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Miller is the frontrunner to be the #2 pick, and has been the focus for the Hornets for some time.

The Hornets are set for another selection later in the first round at No. 27 and the No. 34, No. 39 and No. 41 in the second round. Earlier this morning, Mac & Bone discussed some of the names that they have seen and would like to see the Hornets go after with those selections.

Earlier this week, the New Orleans Pelicans said they are interested in trading up to the #2 or #3 pick in the NBA Draft and are willing to part ways with either Zion Williamson or Brandon Ingram to make it happen. The Hornets own the #2 pick and are in the process of determining whether or not to draft Scoot Henderson or Brandon Miller. Today, Michael Jordan agreed to sell his majority stakes in the organization but will stay on through the NBA Draft, and the start of free agency, and before he leaves his ownership role, he may have one more big decision to make.

Virtually ever since Scott Fitterer became the general manager of the Carolina Panthers, one of the things he's been adamant about is that Brian Burns is going to be in Carolina for the foreseeable future. Evidence of that, was the trade deadline last year, when the Rams offered Carolina, two first-round picks, along with a second, and Carolina declined the offer. The fifth-year pass rusher out of Florida State is getting ready for the 2023 season, and he's awaiting a new contract after Carolina picked up his fifth-year option, which is set to pay him $16 million dollars. Last year Burns recorded 12.5 sacks and was named to his second Pro Bowl, as he's proven in his young NFL career, that he can be a productive player, at the premium position on the defensive side of the football. With all of that in mind, how much should he get paid?
