The Panthers two-game winning streak came to an end yesterday, at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs, 30-27, as KC won on another last-second field goal, to improve to 10-1 on the season.

Despite the loss though, many Panthers fans were encouraged by what they saw from QB Bryce Young, who led the team back from two double-digit deficits yesterday, to give Carolina a chance to win the game. Young performed well enough to get the starting nod for the game against Tampa Bay next week, after head coach Dave Canales refused to commit to Bryce, coming out of the bye week.

The loss dropped the Panthers to 3-8 on the season, but yesterday was another example of the rebuild moving in the right direction, under Dan Morgan, and Dave Canales.

Despite the loss, today’s Panther Monday on the Mac & Bone Show, was a positive one, as the guys were able to rave about the game from Bryce Young, and the defense making plays to get them back in the ballgame.

In the second hour, the guys got a little more specific when talking about the game, as they identified all the positives they took away from the game, starting with Bryce Young, and beyond.

Also in the second hour, Mac & Bone were joined by Jim Szoke, as Szoke gave his view from the booth from yesterday’s loss to the Chiefs, and what he made of Bryce’s performance, he talked about ECU’s four-game winning streak and more.

In the third hour, Mac & Bone spent some specifically talking about the game that Bryce Young put together, they highlighted his development since he was moved back into the starting role, and where he can continue to improve as the regular season winds down.

Lastly, in the final hour, Mac & Bone open up the phone lines, to let the fans voice their opinion on the result from yesterday’s game, during the Pulse of Panther Nation.

You can listen to the Mac & Bone Show (Charlotte’s#1 morning show), every weekday from 6-10 AM, on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ, and the WFNZ app.
