Jimbo Fisher Breaks Down The ACC Landscape Entering 2026
Saturday marks the official return of college football with week 0 including 3 ACC teams playing games from a conference showdown in Charlottesville, to an international affair in Ireland. Former National Championship winning HC turned ACC Network Analyst, Jimbo Fisher, joined Kyle Bailey to preview the upcoming season for the conference as a whole.
The North Carolina Tar Heels were a big topic of discussion as Bill Belichick struggled in his first season with the Heels as they finished with a 4-8 record, but Jimbo noted how this Heels team looks more physical on both sides of the ball, and he thinks the addition of Bobby Petrino can help the offense score more points, which makes him believe that Carolina can win 6-8 games this year.
Jimbo would go on to discuss how crucial the Virginia-NC State game will be in shaping the conference this year, and what he’s expecting from FSU this year.
