Earlier today, news broke that Hornets HC Steve Clifford would be stepping down from his current role as HC at the end of the year. To break down the news, Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports joined Kyle Bailey to break down what the upcoming offseason could have in store for Charlotte.
Jake started by looking back on Clifford’s second tenure with the Hornets as he noted that the injuries were a deterrent for this team to have success, still, he thinks having a team so young didn’t jive with his style and with new ownership and new leaders of personnel it felt like the right time for the Hornets to make a change.
The conversation with Jake went into what coaches could be in the hunt for the job, and how the offseason could play out across the board.
