During Tuesday’s edition of the Mac & Bone Show, North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame Class. Executive Director, Trip Durham, joined the show as he announced the newest inductees to the Hall of Fame. One of the names listed was former Davidson HC Bob McKillop, who joined Kyle Bailey this afternoon to reflect on the honor.
When asked about what this honor meant to him, Coach McKillop told Kyle it was a joy for him to be included with so many influential coaches and players in the state. He also is thankful to be surrounded by so many outstanding players, coaches, administrators, and most importantly his family for making this possible in the first place.
Bob would later go on to discuss what he was most proud of during his tenure at Davidson, and the growth he has seen from his son Matt as HC of the Wildcats today
