The Charlotte Hornets dropped their fourth game in a row, and second in this stretch to the New York Knicks, 122-108 at Spectrum Center.
The Knicks jumped out to an 11-point lead after one quarter, and the Hornets couldn’t get the score closer than five after the opening period. While the shooting numbers for both teams stayed relatively even, the Hornets couldn’t get the Knicks to cool off on the offensive end.
Brandon Miller dropped in a career-high 29 points for the Hornets, while LaMelo Ball notched his seventh straight game with 25 or more with 34.
The loss came on a night when the Hornets honored Baron Davis on one of the team’s 35th Anniversary Celebration Nights.
