The Panthers picked up their first win of the season on Sunday afternoon against the Houston Texans 15-13, giving Frank Reich his first win as the franchises head coach and Bryce Young his first career victory. While it was big for both of those guys, this was huge win for the team as whole with two winnable games on the horizon in the next two weeks.

On Wednesday, Panthers long snapper JJ Jansen joined the Mac & Bone Show to clear up what happened on the final field goal attempt of the day and discuss just how important that win was. “It was a big day for a lot of people. There was a lot of individual reasons and we are all living and dying for that exuberant feeling at 4:15 on Sunday. No matter what your record is, there’s always a sense of pride and relief and excitement. Then you add in this particular week with all kinds of extra storylines and the individual sort of accolades that were achieved, it really made for quiet and exuberant finish.”
