Earlier today on the Kyle Bailey Show, CBS Sports Radio Host and NBA Insider Bill Reiter dropped by to weigh in on the Hornets offseason, and an early outlook for the upcoming season.

The first topic that Bill weighed in on was the Hornets decision to draft Brandon Miller as he said he thought Charlotte should have selected Scoot Henderson and despite some of Brandon Miller’s struggles throughout Summer League, he thinks it is way too soon to judge whether or not the Hornets made a mistake.

With Miles Bridges, the situation got a short-term resolution this offseason with the former Michigan State star only signing his Qualifying offer as Bill told Kyle he thinks that Miles is as good as gone by the time he becomes a UFA as teams like the Lakers were monitoring his situation last year but backed off due to his off the court situation.

When it comes to the Hornets expectations this upcoming year, Bill thinks if the health of stars like LaMelo Ball he could see Charlotte definitely make the play-in tournament, and could very well make the playoffs after a tumultuous 2022-2023 season in the Queen City.
