Today on the Mac Attack, Mac and T-Bone discussed if it is time for the Hornets to insert LaMelo Ball into the starting lineup. They bring up this topic due to the team losing 6 of their last 7 games, and needing a spark.

The thing that Mac and T-Bone say they worry about is if LaMelo starts to struggle in the starting lineup, it will be tough to just take him back out. LaMelo has proven to be a defensive liability, and also seems to be lost on the Offensive side of the floor when not running the fast break. The Hornets need to get a lot more scoring from their bench, and that starts with players like Malik Monk and Miles Bridges.

Through the first 18 games, Devonte Graham has started every game at Point Guard and the Hornets are 7-11. Graham is also far from the only problem on this team, and taking him out of the starting lineup is something you would have to do at the perfect time. I think James Borrego needs to make sure he is certain if he decides to make this move.
