The Hornets have hit a rough patch over the two and a half weeks, losing their last five games and seven of their last nine overall. With that, the Hornets have fallen to 9th place in the Eastern Conference after spending a majority of the season inside of the top six in the conference. However, the Hornets do still remain above .500 and are still closer to 6th place in the conference than they are to the 11th spot.
Hornets’ radio voice Sam Farber joined the Mac Attack this morning to tell you why Hornets fans need to be patient with the team and James Borrego.
“James Borrego is an excellent head coach. I still think he is in the discussion for Coach of the Year. I think J.B. Bickerstaff is probably running away with it at the moment, but I think if JB can keep this team above .500, he’ll definitely be in consideration.”

The Hornets will return to action on Wednesday looking to snap the five-game losing streak against the Chicago Bulls at 7:30 PM in the Spectrum Center. Coverage will start on WFNZ starting at 6:30 PM with the Hornets Pregame Show presented by Affordable Siding and Windows with Kyle Bailey and Travis “T-Bone” Hancock. Farber will be on the call starting at 7:30 PM.
