Curtis Strange Reacts To Rory Going Back-To-Back At Augusta

For only the 4th time in Masters history, we saw a golfer win back-to-back Masters as Rory McIlroy joined Tiger Woods, Sir Nick Faldo, and Jack Nicklaus as the only men to accomplish that feat. Former back-to-back winner of the US Open, Curtis Strange, joined Kyle Bailey to break down how Rory became a part of rarefied air over the weekend in Augusta.
When it came to Rory’s performance, Curtis told Kyle that this weekend showed how hard it is to hold a big lead at a major with multiple top names in the sport coming after him on Saturday, while Rory was playing it safe in some ways. Despite all of that, his resilience really showed up when it mattered most, which Curtis believes played a big factor in Rory repeating.
Curtis would go on to break down the biggest storylines for the rest of the Golf season, and just how close Cameron Young is to getting over the Major hump.
