Jay Bilas Previews Duke/UNC Round 2

After a dramatic first game back in February, the Duke/UNC rivalry is ready to write its second chapter for the 2026 season, as the two teams will meet up tomorrow night in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Carolina won the first contest, 71-68, behind a Seth Trimble three-pointer, with 0.4 left to play in the game. The 0.4 seconds, were the only time that the Tar Heels led in the game. With Duke clinching the ACC regular season title on Monday night, and UNC securing a double-bye on Wednesday, the only thing on the line in this game is bragging rights, as a UNC sweep would mean that one side has swept the other in four straight seasons. The status of Caleb Wilson is still unknown for UNC, and after dazzling in the first game in Chapel Hill, his potential absence would definitely impact the outcome of the game.
Earlier this morning on the Mac & Bone Show, ESPN’s Jay Bilas, who previews tomorrow’s Duke/UNC rematch in Durham, he talks about how the potential absence of Caleb Wilson impacts the outcome of the game, he raves about the job Jon Scheyer continues to do, he talks about the inconsistencies at NC State, and more.
You can listen to the Mac & Bone Show, (Charlotte’s #1 morning show) every weekday from 6-10 AM on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ and the WFNZ app.
