Charles Lee On Why Kon Knueppel Should Be ROTY

We’ve officially reached the month of March, and the Hornets are in the midst of another win streak, vying for a spot in the play-in tournament. Hornets HC Charles Lee joined Kyle Bailey to discuss the mindset as more people pay attention to the Hornets.

One of the biggest storylines revolving around the Hornets has been Kon Knueppel’s record-setting rookie year, as despite many people believing his Duke teammate, Cooper Flagg, was a shoo-in for the award before the season, Kon might have an edge now, as Coach Lee agreed with that notion as he told Kyle that he has impacted winning on both sides of the ball, and most importantly, he has so many winning habits that he was getting the main defensive assignments at times with both Brandon Miller and LaMelo Ball and that doesn’t happen with most rookies.

Charles would go on to discuss how he is trying to keep the team from the growing outside noise, and how Coby White is getting more acclimated with the squad.
