Come this Thursday, we'll be two weeks away from the 2023 NBA Draft, and the debate about what the Hornets should do at #2 is only heating up. Scoot Henderson has limited his workouts to just two teams, the Hornets and Blazers, showing a level of confidence in himself that you almost have to admire. Meanwhile, Brandon Miller is going to work out for at least 12 teams, as his landing spot isn't as known, given his off-the-court issues, and that's something that even Charlotte themselves have to be aware of.

When the NBA Finals tip-off this Thursday night in Denver, it will also mark the NBA Draft being three weeks away, as teams around the league will continue to fill out their draft boards, with the #1 pick already an afterthought. The Charlotte Hornets own the#2 pick, and that's is really where the draft starts, especially with the Blazers, who currently own the #3 pick, open to trading for a veteran piece to pair with Damian Lillard.

The 2023 NBA Draft is less than a month away, and last week after the Hornets moved up to the #2 pick, the debate began regarding who they pick should be after the lottery. Brandon Miller had a stellar freshman season at Alabama, helping guide the Crimson Tide to the #1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, and a trip to the Sweet 16. His NBA comp has long been Paul George of the Clippers, and when healthy, he is one of the best two-way players in all of basketball. While a majority of NBA draft analysts see Paul George in Miller, that belief isn't true for everybody, including the host of the Wes & Walker Show on WFNZ, Walker Mehl.
