After Jets quarterback, Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending injury on the fourth play of the game against the Bills, the outlook for that position is currently up in the air. Publicly the Jets have made it known that they are confident in Zach Wilson after he helped lead them to a comeback win on Monday night, but this is a guy who was benched in favor of journeymen backups just last season. With the move to trade for Rodgers, the Jets are built to win now, and for guys like Robert Saleh, and Joe Douglas, they can't afford to see another losing season go by.

The 2023 college football season is in full swing, with Week 2 already underway. When you look back at Week 1, one of the more impressive results, was North Carolina routing South Carolina 31-17, in the Duke's Mayo Classic. Drake Maye, who is considered a consensus top-5 pick in next year's draft, and a potential Heisman Trophy candidate, played well, throwing for two touchdowns.

The Panthers season now sits just three days away and, unfortunately, the focus is split between the game and the unresolved contract situation with their top defensive player. The preseason has been over for a week now, but that doesn't mean that the opinions on Bryce Young's first preseason have slowed down any. Over the course of the three exhibition games, Young went 14-24, for 129 yards, and one passing touchdown. In the preseason finale against the Lions, the #1 picked looked the part, going 7-12, for 73 yards, and a touchdown pass to Adam Thielen. That was enough to calm down some concerns that maybe the Panthers invested the #1 pick in the wrong QB.
