This past weekend saw the NCAA tournament dwindle to 16 teams and the ACC is strongly represented with the conference occupying 4 of those 16 slots. Former Charlotte 49ers HC and NC State assistant Bobby Lutz joined Kyle Bailey as he broke down the ACC showing up yet again in March.
The first topic broached was how the ACC has been so strong during the tournament after many pundits said this was a down year for the conference, and he thinks that while the conference has slipped a little, they are still a very strong conference as a whole, and he thinks too many people wrote the conference off when they shouldn’t have.
Bobby went on to discuss what he thinks played a role in NC State’s huge turnaround and the problems Charlotte is facing in the transfer portal.
