Detroit Pistons v Charlotte Hornets

Believe it or not, the first week of the NBA season is in the books, and the Hornets find themselves, 1-2, as they prepare to hit the road for the first time in 2023-24. Charlotte opened the season with an impressive showing, taking down the Hawks, before losing back-to-back games, to the Pistons and the Nets respectively. While Brandon Miller has impressed off the bench, LaMelo Ball has struggled to shoot the ball efficiently from the field, and veterans Gordon Hayward, and Terry Rozier are still rounding into form.

Earlier today on the Wes & Walker Show, Hornets analyst for Bally Sports South, Terrence Oglesby, joined for his weekly spot, to give his thoughts on the first homestand of the season. He preaches patience for the early struggles of LaMelo Ball & talks about Brandon Miller’s start to his NBA career.

The Hornets are back in action tomorrow night, as they take on the Houston Rockets at 8:30 PM.

You can catch the Wes & Walker Show, every weekday from 12-3 PM, on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ, and the WFNZ app.
