Charlotte FC unveiled its new headquarters Tuesday in the form of Atrium Health Performance Park, a 52,000 square foot facility that puts all sporting and business operations of the club under one roof.
That collaborative synergy represents a first in Major League Soccer, as Charlotte FC’s full player pathway from the Under-12 & Under-13 Discovery Program, through the reserve team, Crown Legacy, and up to the first team will be able to co-exist and collaborate with each other.
The club hopes that the new headquarters will not only help bring high-level player recruits to the club, but more business to East Charlotte.
.@CharlotteFC owner David Tepper thanks @AtriumHealth and Daniel Levine; “This is the first neighborhood facility in @MLS, we want to bring the neighborhood in here. What will happen hopefully, this is an anchor for economic development in this area. This is where things start.” pic.twitter.com/j1vcqimYa5
