James Franklin On His Year 1 Expectations At Virginia Tech
Charlotte has been home to ACC Kickoff yet again, and the 2026 edition of this event has had many storylines, and arguably the biggest involves James Franklin entering his first year in the conference with Virginia Tech. The Hokies HC joined Kyle Bailey to discuss his expectations for the team, and what players people need to keep an eye on.
When it came to expectations for his team, James told Kyle that they have to keep the momentum going from this offseason, and he believes the Hokies have more depth. Still, he hopes that Hokies fans can see Virginia Tech football return to what it looked like throughout the Frank Beamer years from top to bottom.
James would go on to tell Kyle a couple of players he needs to keep his eye on this year, along with many administrative changes that have occurred at Virginia Tech since Coach Franklin took the job last November.
