The 2026 NFL Draft has come and gone, and the Carolina Panthers focused on the trenches throughout all 3 days. Panthers GM Dan Morgan joined Kyle Bailey to break down what went behind their decisions to try and help improve the team heading into 2026.

Georgia Tackle Monroe Freeling was the first pick for Dan Morgan and company, as Dan told Kyle that they didn’t expect Monroe to make it to the 19th pick, and he couldn’t pass up on the player or the value at that spot. When it comes to this year, Dan noted that Monroe will have the chance to compete for a starting spot this year alongside free agency signing Rasheed Walker as Dan noted how they want to keep their fronts strong on both sides of the ball.

Dan would also go on to discuss whether or not they are close to the contending stage, and what Tennessee WR Chris Brazzell brings to the table.
