Joe Person Previews The NFL Draft For The Panthers
The NFL Draft is just days away, and the Carolina Panthers are picking outside the top 10 for only the 3rd time since 2019. Joe Person of The Athletic joined Kyle Bailey to preview how the draft could break down for the Panthers, starting on Thursday.
When it comes to the 19th pick, one name that has gained some traction in recent days has been Oregon Safety, Dillon Thieneman as Joe told Kyle that he believes Dillon could be a day 1 starter for the Panthers at Safety beside Tre’Von Moehrig, but Joe noted that while Carolina is high on him, he would be somewhat surprised if Dillon gets past Minnesota on Thursday.
Joe would go on to break down Carolina not having any reported LB’s for top 30 visits, and how early Dan Morgan could take a WR.
