X’s-and-O’s or culture? That is the biggest question that Panther fans are tossing back and forth when it comes to the search for their tenth coach in program history. Some want the proven veteran coach who can come in and establish the winning culture and mindset that the team has seemed to lack under the […]

It's not every day that a former two-time Olympian, or a former World's Strongest Man, let alone a former wrestler joins the show, but that is exactly what happened earlier today on WFNZ, as Mark Henry joined the Wes & Walker Show, ahead of an All Elite Wrestling event next year.

Saturday night, the first weekend of high school football in the Charlotte area concluded with the first-ever Keep Pounding High School Classic in Bank of America Stadium between the Providence Day Chargers and Northwestern Trojans. The NBA All-Star break starts later this week, as the All-Star festivities begin in Cleveland on Friday night. One of the teams that can desperately use the break in the action is the Hornets, as they are currently 29-29, and have fallen out of the top six of the Eastern conference, as they have lost 6 of the 7. "In my gut, I hope Roy Williams picks his successor, and I hope it's someone from the Carolina family," said Brown. "I know what Coach Smith would want, I know what Coach McGuire would want... Keep it in the family, and let's move forward."
