Carolina Panthers

During the Panthers 26-0 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday, footage emerged of Panthers owner David Tepper, throwing his drink at a Jaguars fan, as the game was coming to an end, Since then, there has been quite the discussion about the punishment that the league office would hand down, and if Tepper, not known to talk willingly, would issue a statement on the matter. Both transpired in the last hour or so, as the NFL handed down its punishment.

When you're 2-12, there are a lot of areas that need to be addressed to become not only a winning team, but a competitive team once again. Everybody knows that Carolina needs help along its offensive line, and in the wide receiver room, to get the most out of Bryce Young, as he looks to cement himself as the franchise QB he was drafted to be. On the Wes & Walker Show earlier today on WFNZ, they tried to identify what underrated part of the team needs to be addressed the most, and their answers may surprise you.

Despite the horrendous conditions on Sunday at Bank of America Stadium, the Panthers were able to get an upset win over the division-rival Atlanta Falcons to put a serious dent in their playoff hopes as Carolina now has 2 wins. To recap the Panthers win in the dreary conditions with Kyle Bailey was Steve Smith […]

The Carolina Panthers may not be playing for a chance to make the postseason, but they have embraced the spoiler role. The team hosted the Atlanta Falcons, who entered the weekend tied for the NFC South, on Sunday in a driving rainstorm, something that heading in had most fans hesitant that the team would be […]

It's been quite a week for Cam Newton, as the former Panthers QB is doing a media tour of sorts, going on multiple podcasts and radio shows, talking about today's NFL. The first set of comments that caused a stir, was him calling QBs like Dak Prescott, and Brock Purdy "game managers", despite them having their teams in legitimate positions to compete for, and potentially win a Super Bowl. He didn't stop there, as when he appeared on the QB Room, he made a pitch that he should be the President of Football Operations for the Carolina Panthers. That position has become more common in today's sports, across sports like basketball, baseball, and football. The idea of Dave Tepper hiring a team president isn't that far-fetched, especially considering his front office is seeking stability, after another tumultuous season, on and off the field.

The 2023 season for the Carolina Panthers has been rough and filled with more long-term questions than answers. Former NFL GM and executive of the year Randy Mueller joined Kyle Bailey as he discussed the current state of the Panthers and how they can fix the problems starting this offseason. Randy first touched on how […]

Ever since the Bill Belichick rumors in regards to the Panthers vacancy started swirling, virtually everyone has had an opinion on the matter. For Panther fans, the possibility of hiring a head coach that beat you in the Super Bowl is as big a catch-22 as you could get when you consider that Belichick is arguably the best head coach in NFL history. On the flip side, looking at his struggles without Tom Brady makes you question just how great of a coach he truly is. Many people in the football community also believe that the game has passed him by, and he struggles to connect with today's players.

The Panthers dreadful season continued as they fell to the Saints in the Superdome 28-6 now falling to 1-12 on the season. Steve Smith Sr. joined Kyle Bailey on WFNZ to break down some of the continued struggles for the Black and Blue. One of the main questions that Steve addressed with Kyle was whether […]

Each week, it feels like there is no way that it can possibly get any worse for the Panthers and yet it seems to even on off days that things seem to become even more depressing. Sunday may have been a new low for the team as they dropped to 1-12 with their lowest offensive […]

Tomorrow the Army/Navy rivalry renews itself in the 124th edition of America's Game. An Army win over Navy would secure the Black Knights the Commander-In-Chief Trophy, which the service academies compete for yearly. For the last two days, the Wes & Walker Show on WFNZ was broadcasting live from Radio Row in Boston, to get you ready for the final game before bowl season kicks off later this month, and they had quite the guests while on location.
