Today on the Mac Attack, Mac and T-Bone ranked where they thought Greg Olsen should rank among all-time Panthers players. Over Olsen’s 14 years in the NFL, he caught 742 passes for 8,683 yards and 60 touchdowns. They both agree that he should be a member of the Panthers Hall of Honor, but they disagreed where he should rank among the teams all-time greats.

T-Bone ranked Greg 6th all-time behind Luke Kuechly, Steve Smith, Cam Newton, Thomas Davis, and Julius Peppers. Mac ranked Olsen 7th behind the same players but added Ryan Kalil ahead of Olsen as well.

Mac went on to mention how Olsen was on track to be a Hall of Fame player after 3 straight 1,000-yard seasons, which is a feat that was never accomplished by a Tight End before Olsen. In the year Olsen was going for his 4th straight 1,000-yard season, he broke his foot in a Week 2 matchup with Buffalo, which started the injuries at the end of Olsen’s career.

Olsen played for the Chicago Bears for 4 seasons before coming to Carolina, and one season with the Seattle Seahawks to end his career, but he will always be known as a Carolina Panther.
