LaMelo Ball’s 33 points were not enough to overcome the Washington Wizards, who defeated the Charlotte Hornets 132-116 on Wednesday night.

Despite leading by as many as 15, the Charlotte Hornets couldn’t prevent a comeback effort from the Dallas Mavericks, who outlasted the visitors 124-118 in Texas Sunday.

LaMelo Ball made a game-sealing steal on the last play of the game, as the Hornets snap a three-game losing skid with a 125-124 victory over the Indiana Pacers.

Shooting woes on offense and three-point defense continued to plague the Hornets, as they dropped their third straight contest, losing 128-119 to the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.
