Just like that, the 2024 NFL Draft is in the books for all 32 teams around the NFL, after the event was held in Detroit over the weekend. When you spend four and a half months preparing for it, you forget that it’s just a three-day event, and then it’s on to the draft, kind of like recruiting in college football or basketball. The Panthers made picks in every round of the draft, which was impressive considering they entered the draft, without draft capital in certain rounds. Their headliner is first-round wide receiver, Xavier Legette, who will bring a versatile target to Carolina, in hopes of revamping the passing game, with second-year quarterback, Bryce Young.

The popular thing to do after the draft is to grade how the team performed, and if they got the value they were hoping to get with each draft pick. That’s exactly what Mike Kaye, Panthers beat reporter for The Charlotte Observer, did earlier today on the Wes & Walker Show on WFNZ, as he talked about the process in which Carolina traded multiple times, the one area he wishes they would’ve been more aggressive in upgrading, and more, as Dan Morgan has officially completed his first draft as a GM in the NFL.

You can listen to the Wes & Walker Show (the #1 midday show in Charlotte), from 12-3 PM on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ, and the WFNZ app.
