Steve Smith Sr. Gives His Takeaways From Panthers Minicamp
Even though we’re in June, the Panthers are not resting as they now find themselves less than 2 months away from the Hall of Fame Game, and minicamp is in full swing. ESPN NFL Analyst and Panthers legend Steve Smith Sr joined Kyle Bailey to discuss some of his overall takeaways from Panthers practice at this point in the offseason.
The first takeaway Steve gave to Kyle was that he immediately noted that both sides of the ball looked faster as they were flying around with a pep in their step across the board. Steve also touched on rookie WR Chris Brazzell, as although he played in the Tennessee offense, Steve came away impressed with his route running at Tulane, and he thinks the Tennessee offense did him a disservice in the draft process.
Steve would go on to discuss another rookie who caught his attention today and how Dave Canales giving up playcalling duties could help the team moving forward.
