Whenever you think of the glory days of the Charlotte Hornets, one of the first players that you think about is Jamal Mashburn, who arrived in Charlotte after being included in a trade for Eddie Jones and Anthony Mason. In Mashburn's two seasons with the Hornets, before they left for New Orleans, he averaged over 20 points per game and helped guide the team to the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs in 2001. Despite playing just two seasons in Charlotte, he's still among the all-time best players to ever play in the Queen City. 

The Charlotte Hornets earned their second season-series victory in the past week, as they completed a season sweep of the Memphis Grizzlies with a 110-98 victory Wednesday night in Memphis.

After a long wait, sports betting is finally legal in North Carolina, after a long battle to get it legalized. The Tar Heel State is the 38th state in the United States, to have legal sports gambling, meaning that sports fans can place bets on pro, and amateur sports, just in time for the ACC Tournament, and the NCAA Tournament.

The Wes & Walker Show broadcasted live from the Spectrum Center today, for the 10th annual Military Care Event, as the Hornets were putting together 3,500 care packages for active service men and women. The event took place before the Hornets returned back home, as they host the Orlando Magic tomorrow, before hitting the road later in the week. 

The Charlotte Hornets’ valiant 4th-Quarter comeback attempt fell short Sunday, as the Toronto Raptors took the season series with their American visitors with a 111-106 win.

The Charlotte Hornets lost two key players to injury and also the game as they dropped a 121-114 decision to the Philadelphia 76ers Friday night.
