Charlotte FC Captain Ashley Westwood Joins Mac & Bone Show

Charlotte FC is off to its best start in club history, earning 10 points in the first five matches of the season, which features three wins, and one draw. Their most recent result, a 4-1 win over San Jose came at the expense of the club being down three starters, who were off due to international duty, but the result sighted the depth and the talent that FC has on the roster this season.

One of the leaders of the team is captain Ashley Westwood, who is in his third season with the club after a successful career overseas in the Premier League. Westwood joined the Mac & Bone Show on WFNZ, and he talked about the fast start to the season for The Crown, he talks about what he’s enjoyed the most since arriving in Charlotte and what he makes of Willie P’s goal calls.
