Another NFL Sunday has come and gone, and like clockwork, the Carolina Panthers were blown out, this time by the Chicago Bears, 36-10, as Carolina fell to 1-4 in the 2024 season. The Panthers actually took a brief 7-0 lead, before the Bears scored the next 30 points, as Caleb Williams, put together his best performance at the NFL level. To make matters worse, the Panthers were left with many injuries upfront, as Austin Corbett and Taylor Moton both suffered injuries, along with Jadeveon Clowney on the defensive side of the ball. After beating the Raiders two weeks ago, and competing admirably against the Bengals last week, reality has once again set in, and we all know this is going to be a long season in Charlotte.

Earlier today, the Radio Network analyst, Jim Szoke joined the show, to talk about what went wrong for the Panthers in Chicago, how the defense can remain competitive with all the injuries if we’ll see Bryce Young start again after seeing them playing yesterday, and more.

You can listen to the Mac & Bone Show (Charlotte’s #1 morning show), every weekday from 6-10 AM, on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ, and the WFNZ app.
