Panthers Brain Trust Joins the Mac & Bone Show

Training camp turns a week old tomorrow, and after having their first padded practice of the summer, and Fan Fest on Thursday night, football season is right around the corner. Before you know it, the Panthers will be playing their preseason games, and start the process of trimming down the roster, ahead of the season opener. The franchise enters a new era, after firing both Frank Reich and Scott Fitterer after a disastrous 2-15 season, Dave Canales was hired as the new coach, and former Panther, Dan Morgan was hired as the GM. Earlier today, both joined the Mac & Bone Show, as they broadcasted live from training camp.

First, Dave Canales joined the show, as the first-time head coach, as he set the scene for the first padded practice of training camp, he talked about what he’s seen from Bryce Young, what has impressed him about Jaycee Horn, and talks about the wars in the trenches early on in camp.

Secondly, Dan Morgan joined the show, as he talked about his first off-season as a GM in the NFL, he explained why certain personnel decisions were made on the defensive side of the football, what the vision for the roster looks like moving forward & more.
