Believe it or not, draft week is here, and on Wednesday night, the Hornets will draft a player with the 6th pick in the NBA Draft, as they look to improve their roster, ahead of the 2024-25 season. As you can imagine, there are rumors flying from every direction, about what Charlotte is looking for, and willing to do in the draft, as they look to find a piece to add to their young core of LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller & Mark Williams. As we sit roughly 48 hours away from draft time, the Hornets appeared zeroed in on Dalton Knecht, Reed Sheppard, and Stephon Castle as their likely pick, but again, this is all evergreen, as the rumors continue to swirl.

James Plowright, who covers the Hornets for Sports Illustrated, joined the Mac & Bone earlier this morning on WFNZ, to talk about the latest rumors around the Hornets as we close in on the actual draft if Charlotte should consider trading up for either Knecht or Sheppard, and the latest on Miles Bridges’ future with the team.

You can listen to the Mac & Bone Show (Charlotte’s #1 morning show) every weekday from 6-10 AM, on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ, and the WFNZ app.
